A Unified Theory of Adaptive Subspace Detection Part I: Detector Designs

چکیده
This paper addresses the problem of detecting multidimensional subspace signals, which model range-spread targets, in noise unknown covariance. It is assumed that a primary channel measurements, possibly consisting signal plus noise, augmented with secondary measurements containing only noise. The noises these two channels share common covariance matrix, up to scale, may be known or unknown. variations: by its dimension; consecutive visits unconstrained they constrained prior distribution. As consequence, there are four general classes detectors and, within each class, detector for case where scale between and known, this generalized likelihood ratio (GLR) based derived paper, when organized previously published GLR detectors, comprise unified theory adaptive detection from measurements.

Abstract: The precision of conventional sampling designs is not usually satisfactory for estimating parameters of clump and rare populations. متن کاملApplication of adaptive sampling in fishery part 2: Truncated adaptive cluster sampling designs
There are some experiences that researcher come across quite number of time for very large networks in the initial samples such that they cannot finish the sampling procedure. Two solutions have been proposed and used by marine biologists which we discuss in this article: i) Adaptive cluster sampling based on order statistics with a stopping rule, ii) Restricted adaptive cluster sampling. Until...

متن کاملUnified Theory of Source Coding: Part I -- Two Terminal Problems
Since the publication of Shannon’s theory of one terminal source coding, a number of interesting extensions have been derived by researchers such as Slepian-Wolf, Wyner, Ahlswede-Körner, Wyner-Ziv and Berger-Yeung. Specifically, the achievable rate or rate-distortion region has been described by a first order information-theoretic functional of the source statistics in each of the above cases. ...
